It has been a busy week trying to catch up from Thanksgiving. Tonight’s dinner was simple. BBQ chicken, smashed red potato and chopped broccoli. And bubbly, of course! 🙂
One of the caveats of a whole foods diet is to only eat single ingredients that can be found in your kitchen. But as we all know, life doesn’t always cooperate. I keep trusty organic condiments on hand to help me out in a pinch.
Woodstock is a great brand that is transparent in the ingredient list. I work hard to avoid dastardly things called “natural flavors”. “Natural Flavors” are anything but natural – they are designed simply to make your food taste better while hiding sugar and chemicals in the food. This BBQ sauce passes the test – yay! I can’t find this chain stores, but our local health food store always has it in stock.
I’m off to catch up on my daily reading!
